Installation
Drag Loomwork.app into /Applications. Open it. Start writing. The first launch may ask Gatekeeper for permission — the binary is signed and notarized.
Where it lives
Projects are stored as folders of plain Markdown in ~/Documents/Loomwork. Or anywhere else you choose. We don’t hold your work on our servers and we don’t want to.
Pro, if you want it
$12 a month for cloud sync between your Macs, beta-reader sharing, the manuscript-format export profiles, and the optional research assistant. Thirty-day free trial. Cancel any time.
iPad & iPhone
Coming this winter. Shared projects via Pro sync. The same plain Markdown folder, opened on any Mac, iPad, or iPhone you own.
Windows & Linux
Not yet. Loomwork uses Tauri 2.0, which means a Windows and Linux build are technically possible, but we’d rather get the Mac right first. Write to us if you’d use it.
